John has been originating loans since 1998.

Over the last 18 years, he worked as an independent Mortgage Banker, managing and operating his own mortgage branch, and as a Sr. Mortgage Loan consultant for a Community Bank. He understands the importance of professional financing for his clients, the realtors he works with, and his overall future success.

Now a VP Mortgage Banker with Compass Mortgage, John is able to continue to focus on the principles which have guided him in this challenging business. Compass Mortgage is a Mortgage Banker with operating licenses in IL, FL, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IN, IA, MI, TX, and WI.

John is available most waking hours, not adhering to traditional “banker’s hours”. Clients find that he nearly always answers the phone (rarely going to voicemail), and is genuinely concerned with their needs. He is always upfront and honest with his clients on their loan’s status.

Extensive research of each loan is done upfront, which allows John to assess the loan’s ability to close and any potential pitfalls prior to clients paying any application or appraisal fees. This is unlike many big banks’ strategy of taking applications and collecting fees without assessing the loan’s approvability.
