Guests will arrive via private charter from Chicago O’Hare to Miami International Airport and will then travel via charter bus to Hawks Cay Resort.

Centrally located between Miami and Key West, yet tucked away on the secluded island of Duck Key, Hawks Cay Resort offers the perfect union of solitude and convenience. What’s even better is that you can experience the best qualities of the Caribbean without using your passport!
You’ll find clear turquois waters, endless sunshine, award-winning fishing, countless water sports and adventures, and so much more! We are proud of your hard work this past year and are looking forward to introducing you to this relaxing yet invigorating oasis!
Inside Scoop
- We will meet at Compass the morning of our flight and be shuttled to the runway. Upon arrival at MIA, we will board the charter shuttles directly from the runway and bypass the airport altogether.
- The ride to Hawks Cay is roughly 90 minutes and will include lunch! The drive is beautiful and includes ocean views on both sides of the vehicle.
- The Keys are a chain of islands connected by bridges.
- There are three pools and a saltwater lagoon! The lagoon offers complimentary paddle board rentals.
- You will spot a large iguana or two during your visit!
- There is a small market with a coffee bar, snacks, pizza, and more for whenever you need a quick or informal meal.
- The sun is hot in the Keys… don’t forget your sunscreen!
- The on-property shuttle can take you wherever you need to go, but most places are within walking distance.
Dinners
Please join us on Friday evening for dinner overlooking the water and the dolphin sanctuary on the Dolphin Deck. On Saturday evening, join us for an ocean-side dinner at Oasis Cay. Sunday evening, you are welcome to enjoy dinner on your own. Can’t wait to see you there!
Activities
Compass is happy to gift you and your guest with one activity each at Hawks Cay Resort. You will select your gifted activity when you RSVP.
All activities are first come, first served, based on when RSVP is received. We will do our best to accommodate activity requests and will reach out if your request is not available.
Spa
Calm Waters Spa offers traditional and locally-influenced spa treatments and therapies that utilize the natural ingredients and aromas of the islands.
Snorkel/Sandbar Escape
Twice the fun! Set off for Reef Snorkeling at Coffins Patch and then, relaxing and swimming at the Grassy Key Sandbar aboard Helios, our 45’ power catamaran.
Sunset Cruise
Watch the tropical sunset as it sinks toward the horizon. Enjoy a leisurely excursion and see our beautiful island, Duck Key, from the water, aboard Helios, our 45’ power catamaran.
Dolphin Discovery
If you are an action and adventurous type of person, then look no further! Our Dolphin Discovery program is for you! Feel the Florida breeze through your hair as our dolphin friends bring you back to the submerged platform from the deep water.
Oasis Cabana
Kick your relaxation up a notch and reserve one of our private cabanas, each with their own ceiling fan, for the day.

Never been to Key West? Now’s your chance! Come experience the southernmost city in the U.S. by taking a private Conch Train tour that will show you the well-known sites and share the Key’s history, and then spend some free time exploring! See The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, the Key West Lighthouse, the Southernmost Point and Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and more!
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Transfer from Hawk’s Cay to Key West
10:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Exclusive Tour departing from Flagler Station
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Free time in Key West
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Depart Flagler Station for return to Hawk’s Cay
