Excursion Options
This year, in leu of THE GRAHAMMYS gift, Compass will be treating you and your guest to one excursion each during your stay on Kauai. Additional guests are invited to attend the excursion with you, however the cost will be charged back to you. Through the registration form, Compass will handle all bookings for your party. You will be responsible for transportation to and from this excursion.

Feel the thrill on 9 fast and fun ziplines and a hair-raising suspension bridge on our Zip Express tour. Harness up. Clip in. Get your adrenaline pumping as you glide across our private ranch in one of the most picturesque settings on earth. The Hanalei mountains surround you as you zig-zag your way over wide-open vistas and verdant valleys. Breathe. Soak in the fun. You will be smiling from ear to ear! When you’re ready, take on our massive double zipline called King Kong. Walk up a ramp to a 30-foot tower. Take the leap on this 1,200-foot Kaua’i zipline and race your partner side by side.

There are 24 spots available for this adventure, available on a first-come-first-served basis, so don’t delay!

Cost per additional guest: (age 10+) $139

Sorry, this excursion is full!

There is truly no place like the Napali Coast, the official 8th Wonder of the World. And at sunset… it is even more incredible! Watch the colors of the coastline change as the sun sinks into the ocean; it’s truly gorgeous. Make sure you bring your camera on this spectacular sightseeing tour. This pure Kauai sightseeing tour is for those of you who want to see the Napali Coast and do some whale watching, but are not interested in snorkeling. This tour, while still adventurous, is for those of you who’s like a more relaxing vista of the Napali, without getting in the water. Onboard, help yourself to a delicious selection of appetizers and dinner, island juices, soft drinks, beer, wine, mai tais and champagne at sunset. Tour returns to Port Allen after sunset.

There are 37 spots available on a first-come-first-served basis, so don’t delay!

Cost per additional guest: $139/adult, $119/5-12 year olds

Napali means “the cliffs” and you’ll see how apt that name is when you gaze upon its world-renown 3,500-foot heights, green valleys, waterfalls and hidden beaches. As we head for our destination your crew will entertain your imagination with stories of the Hawaiians who once lived there. The Napali Coast is a sight to be enjoyed from sea level! To top off the experience, your Captain will anchor the boat and you’ll have a chance to do some snorkeling (snorkel location varies depending on the weather conditions the day of your tour). We provide all the snorkel gear—including floatation—and professional instruction to make sure you have a great time in the water. Not interested in snorkeling but still want to get out on the water for the morning? No problem! This tour is also known for the amount of wildlife (think turtles, fish, and WHALES) that you can see, in addition to stunning views of the Napali Coast, the official 8th Wonder of the World!

There are 37 spots available at a first come first served basis, so don’t delay!

Cost per additional guest: $179/adult, $139/6-12 year olds

It’s little wonder that the list of accolades for the Ocean Course is as long as its string of holes that hug the Pacific. The only Jack Nicklaus course on Kauai, the Ocean Course also impresses with its professional Teaching Center offering lessons from renowned PGA instructors equipped with innovative technology.

Cost per additional guest: $179 plus club rental

Beach Welcome Reception
You and your guest(s) are invited to join us down at Kalapaki Beach for a welcome reception on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. where we’ll gather for drinks and heavy appetizers to kick off the 2020 Compass Sales Trip. Kalapaki Beach is the beach just past the pool, down by Kukui’s Restaurant. This is a required meeting for all Compass team members, but with a special touch of aloha, it’s also sure to be a great time for you and your guest(s). Questions? See Brooke or Blake De Young.

Dress code: Aloha attire

-Men: i.e. Hawaiian shirt, khaki shorts or pants

-Women: i.e. casual/beach dress, Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts or skirt

On Thursday Evening, you are invited to join us for a LUAU at Smith’s Tropical Paradise, named the best luau on the island by the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. Compass is thrilled to provide this experience for you and your guest(s). Come experience the rhythm of aloha and the taste of Hawaii! The shuttle bus will leave from the lobby at 4:40 to take us to the luau, and we will return around 9:30.

While we don’t think we’ll need to twist your arm, please note that this is a required event. Come ready to soak up the Hawaiian culture and delicious Hawaiian food. Aloha!

Travel Tips for traveling time zones

Change your watch/phone to Hawaii time when you board the plane.

Nap on the plane so you can stay up until bedtime the first night.

Eat your meals on Hawaii time while you’re traveling.

Due to the length of the flight, drink a lot of water and get up every 1-2 hours and walk to the bathroom and back.

Bring a pen with you on the plane. You’ll need to complete an Hawaiian Islands intake form before landing in Kauai, similar to a customs form when traveling abroad.

There is an agricultural check when you leave the islands for the mainland. It is not permitted to bring any tropical fruit or plants to the mainland.

On your way home, sleep as much as possible on the plane, and try to not nap when you get home.
