We’d like to spotlight our very own Dennis Papiernik for the amazing work he is doing in his community! Dennis was awarded the Habitat Hero award for his involvement with Habitat for Humanity. Dennis has been on the board for Habitat for Humanity for over five years and has been working with the organization on getting important legislation passed.
It took roughly two years to pass this legislation that allows Habitat for Humanity to continue doing good work here in Illinois. Dennis spent many hours writing the bill, finding sponsorships, and attending hearings in order to get the bill passed. When asked about this award, Dennis says, “I was totally surprised by it and honored by this and to be a part of such an esteemed and worthwhile organization.”
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that builds homes for families in need. As a loan officer, Dennis is extremely passionate about housing. His goal is to help people land their dream home and help them grow their wealth as new homeowners.
