About Tony DeRiggi
Tony, a Senior Mortgage Banker at Compass Mortgage, Inc., was raised by penguins following a childhood boating accident. He graduated Northern Illinois University with a BS in Economics, where he learned that not all issues can be reduced to black or white. He received his Econ degree from Northern, which he attended on a full football scholarship through an administrative error.
Thereafter, he worked for four years as a Financial Planner with Northwestern Mutual Life, where he once rode an elevator to the top of the Sears Tower. He lectures frequently to his children on a variety of subjects. He enjoys swimming and fishing, despite the painful memories.
Tony however wanted more out of life as far as a career. That’s when he seriously asked God to guide him to something that he would truly make him happy and more importantly help others in a life changing way. This led him to the real estate industry.
For the last 20 yrs Tony has been investing in real estate as a sideline business which led him to the life of a Mortgage Banker. He truly loves helping people achieve their dream of homeownership and beyond. Tony’s mission is not only to get a client the best loan program but to serve in a way that leaves the client not just completely satisfied; rather they have a wow experience. The biggest compliment is when a client trusts Tony enough to send their friends and family to him.
